The Malmedy Massacre

Ted Paluch of Philadelphia, PA
Ted served in the U.S. Army 285th Field Observation Battalion, Battery B and will share his memories of field observation training, The Battle of the Hurtgen Forest in the fall of 1944, and the Battle of the Bulge where Ted was wounded and the majority of his unit was massacred on December 17th, 1944.

For homeschoolers
in grades K-6
Community Room, Lower Level |
| In this workshop students will learn the fundamentals of chemistry. They will construct their own marshmallow molecules, learn to distinguish between physical and chemical changes, and even get to play alchemist for a day by turning a nickel into gold (well, almost). To finish up, children are introduced to the basics of polymers and get to make their own polymer putty to take home! |
