Join us this summer!
Abington READS
will give you the opportunity to volunteer to help younger students (Kindergarten through 2nd Grade) practice reading over the summer.
We need young adults (ages 12-17) to help in this very successful program. You can sign-up for one hour per week for at least four weeks. It’s fun – you get to read great children’s books and inspire young students to become successful readers!
Required Training Session:
Join us on Sat, June 9 from 11:00 a.m. – noon for a workshop on read-aloud techniques. Attendance is mandatory if you have not previously attended a training session. Registration begins May 29.
Program begins Mon, June 18 and runs until Tues, July 31, 2007. Registration begins May 29.
