Summer 2002

As the program starts, the younger children pick out the books they want.

Abington READS is a chance for young adults (ages 12-17) to volunteer to help younger students (Kindergarten through 2nd Grade) practice reading over the summer.

It's fun---you can read great children's books and inspire young students to become successful readers!

One child, anxious to get started, remarked, "Where's MY teenager!"

A favorite sight, children wrapped up in a book.
