In your personal art journal, you don’t have to stay inside the lines. Spilling words, colors, and images in your journal can be like a big, long sigh of relief. Learn new mixed media techniques (watercolor, stamps, gesso, collages) for free expression as well as new insights about yourself.

BREAD MAKING

Adults and Young Adults (Grades 6-12)
Limit of 15
Saturday, March 20 from 2-3:30 p.m.

Make – Take – Taste
This will be a hands-on class.
Each participant will bring his/her own bowl and utensils
and make delicious wholegrain yeast bread.

  • Learn techniques of making and kneading yeast bread
  • Take home rising bread to bake later
  • Sample hot bread at the end of class
  • Take home enough dough to make two loaves!

WIRE SCULPTURES

In this workshop students will select a character in motion, such as a dancer, athlete, or fairy, then capture and describe its movements through pose, form, and balance using flexible wires.
